JRooL is a charming, independent restaurant set in the heart of the market town of Stroud.  

Located a stone's throw from the award-winning Farmer's Market, JRooL (pronounced drool) is the perfect place to enjoy freshly prepared and locally sourced honest food in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.  

The building itself dates back to 1664 and occupies the former stables to the Inn across the street.

From the open beams to the original well in our beautiful courtyard garden, the Bistro oozes character and charm.
